Siena Root announces that the co-work with Sartez has come to an end
The reason for this is that we could not agree on our musical direction, and how to continue with a collaboration. We thank him for the time he spent with us and wish him good luck in the future.
Siena Root will continue as a trio with different guest artists. Stay tuned for more news!

SIENA ROOT ON KANAL 21 in Bielefeld
On the 4:th of December 18:00 & 22:00, Kanal 21 in Bielefeld will broadcast the show that was recorded earlier this month. The show will go on repeat every day after that. Check out the program here. Some pictures taken by Susanne Kucholke can already be seen in our updated gallery!
Next show will be in Stockholm together with Dexter Jones Circus Orchestra on the 11:th of December. Entrance is 60 kr. It maybe the last chance for a Siena Root concert at Tantogården! To promote this show Siena Root will appear on Radio Rocket on the 4:th of December, 16:00. Check it out!

THE VINYL EDITION OF FAR FROM THE SUN IS READY!
Today we just picked up the first copies of the long-awaited vinyl edition. It´s a great looking and sounding 180 g vinyl packed in a 350g gatefold cover. This vinyl was cut straight from the master tapes, in order to create a 100% analogue, sonically superior album! Something you don´t see too often as most people use a CD master nowadays...
The album is being released through Clearspot´s own label Headspin Records.

More shows are confirmed for the upcoming tour! Please note that the show on the 13:th of March has moved from Kiel to Ahrensburg.

Today Siena Root enters Real Music Studio to record the third full lenght album.
One more show is confirmed for the upcoming tour!
Siena Root will perform at Truckstop Alaska in Gothenburg this friday. This will actually be Siena Roots first show in Gothenburg and the last show for 2007. Right after this, Siena Root will enter Real Music Studio to start sessions for the third full lenght album that will see the light of day in March 2008. The release will be followed by a european tour so stay tuned for more info and tourdates.

Siena Root is right now working on the third full length album. Just like "A New Day Dawning" and "Mountain songs", it will be recorded at Real Music Studio. The sessions will start in december and the album will be released early next year through Swedish label Transubstans Records! As Sanya is no longer a part of the band, vocals will be handled by good old friend Sartez, known from Swedish rockers "Mouth of Clay" etc. Sartez was also part of an early incarnation of Siena Root back in the late 90´s.
The first shows for our european tour in March are already booked. More will come!

Big thanks to the Sara and Benny from Orange Factory in Belgium that arranged a totally amazing 10 year anniversary two weeks ago! We´d also like to thank the guys from Hypnos 69 and Dolmen Tree that were really cool to let us use their equipment and played some great shows. EUROPEAN TOUR
This Thursday the european tour will start with a gig on Studenterhuset in Copenhagen! It will continue through Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The last show will take place in Hamburg on the 19:th, where there have been a last minute change of location. Siena Root will play the Astra Stube, NOT Dreiundsiebzig! Check out all the dates here!
